Se spune ca filmele horror trebuie sa fie proaste by default, un exercitiu in prost-gust. Eu cred ca orice exercitiu poate fi facut cu stil, dar in ce priveste filmul nostru, e discutabil. Some praise it, some hate it, unii spun ca vine cu un monstru foarte original, altii spun ca e disappointing. Eu, ca un privitor part-time de filme, ma gasesc pe undeva pe la mijloc, as zice ca e an enjoyable forgettable horror flick. Spre deosebire de Eden Lake, care te pacaleste cu succes (daca te distantezi emotional de personaje si nu pui botu’ la starea lor de fericire ramane fix pix din el), Splinter e onest, e un horror facut dupa reteta, si facut bine; cel putin am ras.
